Our team of loan officer-owners has more than 35 years of collective, credit-based lending experience. Garrett Collins is the owner and manager of Blue Water. Prior to founding Blue Water, he was Vice President and Director of Sales at Direct Capital Corporate Finance in Portsmouth, NH. Mr. Collins worked closely with commercial lenders in all aspects of underwriting, documentation, pricing and funding. From there he gleaned valuable knowledge and experience.

They strive to provide outstanding service with quality advice and a team of caring, experienced mortgage professionals. While Blue Water recognizes the uniqueness of each customer’s financial situation, they do follow a guideline during the mortgage process. It is a simple five step process. The client and the loan representative meet, get to know one another and determine what the clients financial needs are. A list of necessary documents will be provided in preparation for the next step. Getting qualified is the next step. A verification of income assets, liabilities and credit will take place. Now the customer is ready to access the loan programs. A Blue Water loan representative will help the client understand the ins and outs of the various programs. A loan approval will be step four. After that step five is the easy part, signing the closing documents. Now the work is done. That really is all that is necessary, but Blue Water likes to add a sixth step–staying in touch. They really mean it when they say they want a customer for life!
